ReviewHaving completed every route in the first game, Akatsuki no Goei is much more successful as a lowbrow comedy/bromance than it is as a drama/romance visual novel. The interactions between the male cast really are a treat, often leaving me crying from laughter; meanwhile the heroines themselves often left me crying from boredom. The disparity is severe enough that I'd claim that Aya, Tae, and Moe routes should only be read for the interactions with Son, Yuuki, and Kaoru; Reika's route should only be read because she's the main girl; and frankly, Tsuki's route should be skipped entirely unless you really want the lore from her route.

If you insist on reading the entire thing, order should be Aya/Tae/Moe (I liked this order, but it shouldn't matter much) -> hidden route -> Tsuki -> Reika.
