ReviewSo, AINI. What a game.

It's clear after beating it that the writers forgot that half the fun of a mystery novel is actually being able to solve the mystery on your own.
The first game was solvable for the most part. But with AINI, the game instead chooses to run around in circles specifically to waste your time. It's not quirky. It's called being purposefully obtuse.

I did enjoy the story once I had all the context... but the flanderization of certain characters (Date) really pissed me off.
It wanted to squeeze every character from last game in and it did NOT work. Not only that, it wanted to be more "accessible" to people who hadn't played the first one; So none of the returning cast really grows or changes.

Who the hell starts a mystery series with the second entry. What. 8/10
