Review傷ついた鳥が、羽を休めるべく設立されたこの箱庭で。
In this miniature garden where injured birds were set up to rest their feathers.

With that ''quote'' the game presents its main themes across all the routes.

I have to say that, Re:Lief has one of the best art styles ever in a VN to the point that it's unfair to compared them to other VNs. Granted art as of itself is subjective so...

The story of the game is as fantastic as it can get, the genre which is Sci-fi is really well handled and you can tell specially at the ending of the true route that えある (main writter for the game) had so much passion about the AI's and futuristic setting of the game that can easily drop your jaw.

As well as one of the main themes of the game which is moving on, trying again to a better future.

――試してみるんだ、もう一度。
''Let's try it again, one more time''.

One of the best moments you can see and actually hear this is at the end of the prologue in Hinak0's speach, and for me, that was the moment where I saw that this VN had potential and oh boii it had it.

And here's one the main issues with the VN and that is the rythmn of the story.
For me and as much as it hurts me to say; you can literally skipped from the prologue (or probably from Hinakos route) to the true route/ending.
Because the other routes are really hard to go through since they weren't written by えある.

Also, one the best moments of the VN is when you actually get the see the whole thing in Ai's route which takes hours to go through. Yes, the rythm could had been better handled but in general it was really good and immersive, specially the second half of Ai's route culminating it with the Daisy song and reference which was the pivotal moment of the story, and from that point onwards it didn't stopped until the literally last line of text

I've seen other reviews saying that this VN is either hit or miss and I agree with them since, it is just like that ''hit or miss'' the sense that you could relate and then, easily liked it or don't relate and find it really hard to read and thus hating it lmao.

For me, this VN is a masterpiece, and while the definition of a masterpiece invariably differs between people, for me, Re:LieF had execution, well-reasoned arguments and evidence which was sufficiently powerful as to alter my world views in some way.

So, since Re:LieF with all of its themes and life metaphors ended up having a noticeable impact on my world-views, in this manner, is something I would count a masterpiece.

TLDR:
It's a crime that this visual novel with one of the best art styles ever and really good soundtrack isn't localized officially on English because this VN deserves it and more.

Play it. Whoever is reading it, even if it is Japanese and you have to MTL'd it, it's worth giving it a shot.
Because who knows? it might be hit you on a personal level just as much as it did for me.
