Review | This is Kichijouji Dolores's magnum opus: the setting, the characters, the BGM, the plot, the story, the underlying messages, the voice actors... Bishoujo Mangekyou Kami is the best one of its series. I wish Alice and Dorothy were real, I wish I could live in Kaminari's futuristic tower for real. Although everything was cliche, it was polished to an unnatural degree that it didn't mattered. A true masterpiece. I felt a great sense of catharsis when those greedy villagers burnt to death and got what they deserved. Those slice of life moments with Alice and Dorothy were comfy. The love triangle interactions were spicy. This kind of godlike visual novel only comes once every two decades. it's a nukige, lots of sex scenes kino ending profound theme of android and human relationship happoubi jin is my favorite artist, the way he draws curves is reminiscent of the golden ratio and gives Alice and Dorothy breathing lifelike features lots of meme and pop culture references short game, but very condensed, the heroines go through dramatic character development polished immersive background with fitting BGM track but overall it's a step below kamige level, at the very least it's a 6.5/10 it won't change your life or anything like that wstar is style over substance, but the main character still has a bit of monologue he's cringe at first but you'll understand his circumstances later on in the story |
