Review	For an indie VN, Ripples is excellent. The one complaint that can be made is possibly that the VN errs towards being perhaps a bit too high in sexual content, but given that's how most indie VNs obtain their funding, one can't complain too much. The soundtrack is fitting albeit not memorable; the characters are varying degrees of nice, and not all are as one-dimensional as they seem. The main plot of the VN, as is discovered fairly early on, revolves around time-travel, and it is done in quite a refreshing way; utilizing (mostly mothers) of current love interests as the main characters of the past, and reflecting minor changes made in the past into bigger changes in the present. It's perhaps a bit too mysterious, but nothing too bad. It's definitely far better than the packaging implies.

My biggest complaint about these types is the fact that at the rate they're being worked on, the majority of them will take a decade or so to finish. If they ever do, that is, since a huge swath of them are largely abandoned projects. Sadly, Ripples is one of those that updates so infrequently that I don't hold out much hope for a conclusion to the story anytime in my lifetime.
