ReviewI rated this 10 just for the simple reason that it's a vanilla VN where the MC does not end up simping on the girl so much despite being a beta male, and the story had it's funny moments. Unlike VNs like Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai and Hatsukoi 1/1 where the MCs either got rejected or told to wait for an answer in some routes and the MC somehow just felt that he had to chase after their affection which were some the most unrealistic love stories I've seen; yes, even more unrealistic than this VN where girls confessed their feelings to the MC first (which actually happens in real life if you know how to really make women fall for you as I've seen it done by my psychologist/ pick-up artist friend). I prefer VNs where girls also work for the guy's affection rather than just the guy doing so much.

< report >Alright, cool. I've seen and heard those scenarios you mentioned irl tho. Heck, those are quite common in teenage love so I'm not sure about your "unrealistic" take.

< report >So if the male waits for the answer, it's wrong, or "uNrEaLiStIC". But if the male actually postpones answers to multiple girls, it's ok. I wonder if you listen to some andrew tate's podcast, just askinLast modified on 2022-09-26 at 05:49

< report >Nah, Andrew is too much of an asshole and that's actually just as bad as being a nice guy. There's this perfect balance of niceness and badness called alpha male and that's what I'm looking for. I know these VNs are just fiction and moeges are usually cringey but I'm just saying, I'd like to see MCs who are fun and good at conversations disregarding the storylines for now; I've actually seen some with interesting MCs like the VNs called Making * Lovers, Kyonyuu Fantasy (This one had a damn good storyline for me even with all the sex), and Bunny Black. Oh about the unrealistic part, I mean unrealistic like, they're portraying that "the more you chase, the more you win her over" instead of "just let the cool guy in you naturally enjoy the relationship and show her hints and don't make your confession too serious and don't let the little boy in you who listens to his lovestruck emotions take over", just that context since love shouldn't be portrayed like that as it's cringey and women in real life would most likely reject the guy. I'm also speaking from experience as I've been rejected or the relationship ended many times when I was acting like a nice prince but somehow snagged a girl a few times when I tried to improve myself acting a bit more sigma. A little hard to explain and without sounding like a politically correct person, English isn't my main but maybe you kind of get it.Last modified on 2022-09-26 at 07:36

< report >Uhh nah I think that's only you being edgy while only looking from your POV. The portrayal of romance as "the more you chase, the more you win her over" is true and has happened. Yes, sometimes it gets romantized too far but such case happened too many times around me that to say it is unrealistic is just wrong. Also, I don't believe that Kyofan's MCs are alpha at romance. They are smart and got some charisma + cool factor, yeah, but not with women.Last modified on 2022-09-26 at 08:17

< report >Did you just unironically say "trying to be more sigma"? I mean sure you can dislike games when the protagonist works for the heroine's love but saying that is bad or beta male mindset is funny to me. The protagonist should do that because he is "the protagonist". He should, or ideally be the one that makes the story go, not the other way around. I mean for god sake even in this game the protagonist has to come up with interactions that makes the heroine interested more towards him, the heroines hardly does anything after they confessed.
Whatever happens in your life can't be applied to others let alone for a fucking video game. But whatever floats your boat m8Last modified on 2022-09-26 at 08:25

< report >#3 It happens a lot yeah but I guess to explain it further, in real life, I never saw a guy simping after a girl be romantically successful.

#4 Being beta is not bad in a general way, it's just plain unattractive realistically and as I said, I know it's just a video game, but I just find it not to my taste which is why I personally think of it as "bad". I'm also not a sigma, just tried my best in the past to develop traits a sigma has when I was looking to be into a relationship.
