Review[Disclaimer: before playing this, I've never heard about the webcomic source material. I've only played this because I wanted to know what 143183$ visual novel would be like]

I went into this without any expectations. And what did I get?

+ Decent art and colour palette
+ Good character designs and CG scenes
+ Threesomes are possible
+ Cool premise
+ Quality translation for multiple languages

-/+ Fitting but forgettable OST
-/+ World's lore is interesting, but discussed very briefly

- Absolutely underdeveloped plot
- More like SoL than Sci-Fi
- Generic characters with no development whatsoever
- Side characters do absolutely NOTHING
- Bad character dynamics: friendships are awkward and "relationships" barely exist
- Bland and random sex scenes
- Choices don't matter much
- Abrupt ending
- Terrible custom UI

Besides its looks Starfighter has nothing to offer its players, fans of webcomic or not.
The game felt more like a money laundering scheme than a polished product(their base goal was 70000$!!). Stretch goals are funny in retrospect: it's nice they outsourced tls instead of using MTL like many Chinese companies nowadays, but the rest of stretch goals? The extra outfit is the funniest one: it's an alternative sprite for MC that gets a reaction from his partner(s).

Won't recommend it to anybody. Fans already backed and played it ages ago, and it's not friendly enough for newcomers. It certainly didn't hook me enough to want to read a webcomic. Let it die in obscurity.
