| Review | Coming off of reading something longwinded and technical (Mememasa) Saya no Uta was just the little tonic I needed. It has fun alternating endings, the character voices of the meat monsters are great, it is a simple story without traditional protagonists or antagonists, yet it still gave me a couple of fun, chilling, existential thoughts without being super depressing. The gore/H stuff is fun but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the AA version. This is a classic for good reason. I rate it an 8 because other, longer VNs have given me more of an emotional journey; but for what it is--something of its size--Saya no Uta is close to perfect. |
