ReviewI would like to start this off by saying please look into this game before you get it. I can guarantee you it will save you a lot of regret if you are fussy over your content.

Here are a few key things to note:

1. This is a horror VN with sci-fi(but not very good sci-fi) elements. It is incredibly gory and goes into great detail

2. You must complete all Despair(Bad) ends in the game before unlocking the Salvation(Good) ends. Not all Salvation ends are happy.

3. There is no steamy content in this game

4. The romance level in this game is next to none. You will get a very miniscule snippet of romantic progression, but this is not a game for those who value romance driven plot.

5. The triggers in this game are no joke. They are not just triggers that you come across for a second or two. They go into great detail for almost all of them to the point where it is disturbing. Please be aware of that before you go into it

6. There is a huge difference between "angst" and "despair". This game is full on "despair". This means it is incredibly depressing, disheartening, at points just down right horrific, and sad with no happy ending in sight. It is unlike any other otome out there that one would consider "sad". It is on a whole other level

All that being said, the game itself has beautiful art direction. The characters, CGs, music, and design are very pleasing, the voice acting is A++, and those made me fall in love with the game.

The plot itself is okay. There are parts I really loved, and parts I absolutely hated. I find that each route had pacing issues, but for the first 3 unlocked ones, I could ignore them as I enjoyed where the story was going.
For the 2 locked routes, the pacing got drastically worse, with added plot reveals just for the point of adding drama instead of contributing to the story in a positive way. It made everything feel a little messy and I felt incredibly disappointed in the end at the way it all unfolded. The idea of overarching story itself is quite beautiful, but all the extra plot reveals and poor pacing in the locked routes took away from it. I would never replay the locked routes as they kind of ruined the game for me.

In the end I still enjoyed 3 routes, but I would have a hard time recommending it to anyone who I haven't known for a really long time due to the type of content it is. This is borderline not even otome TBH. The romantic elements are so minimal and don't add much to the story that I would almost want to classify it as a normal VN. You can remove the tiny bit of romantic content in this and it would not really impact a lot of the routes and could easily be turned into friendship/familial scenarios, which would have made more sense. That is how little the romance matters in this game.

Moral of the story? Do not blind buy this game without looking into it. Do your research and know what you are getting into.
