ReviewI honestly wasn't expecting anything but a Nukige, but this was a really good game over all.

Setting-wise, it is obviously a parody of old-style animes with a super heroine, Silver Star, fighting against an evil organization, but it is a parody that is done right. It feels nostalgic and funny, not like it's just copying something.

All the characters have secret identities and know each other in daily life: The Evil team has an official Embassy from "Moonland" and has students who go to the same school as the Heroine Tsukimi and her sister Maria. Tsukimi is a publicly acknowledged hero, so the Evil side knows her, but she doesn't know that her enemy is right next to her. In fact, Tsukimi considers the the Moonland Princess Lunathemis to be her best friend. And this isn't Lunathemis just conning Tsukimi, they actually are friends. There is a lot of interaction between all of the characters, and you see clearly different relationships and personalities.

The Evil side is from the Moon. It is a matriarchal society, where people are born with 'crests' in their eyes that give special powers. The crest can be Cresent Moon, Half-Moon, Full-Moon, and the Queen has Double Moon (one in each eye). The type of crest you have determines social status. The main character is a man and only has a Cresent Moon crest, so he is treated rather poorly by the other executives. However, he realizes with Maria that his power is to take other peoples crest and grow his own when he has sex with them. This is why he teams up with Maria to secretly take down the other Executives so he can grow his own power and status.

The battle parts are very light-hearted. The main character's job is to find weaknesses for the executive that is in charge of battling Silver Star that week and convey them to Maria, but most of the weaknesses are pretty funny, like being afraid of snakes, or publicly revealing a really bad report card. Win or lose, it never feels like a life-and-death situation. Even in some of the Evil side endings, you can see the Tsukimi and Maria in the background. The Evil side has a rule that anyone who screws up has to be punished, and the Main character is in charge of that. He uses that to have sex with them and take their crest. At first it is threatening them not to reveal anything about him and to help him, but by each of the Endings, the Executives end up being so attached to the Main Character that they end up screwing up his plans so they can keep him for themselves.

H-Scenes:
There is a fair amount of variety, and were pretty good. There are 6(7) Executives, Tsukimi, and Maria. Each executive has a reverse-rape scene with the main character if the Heroines lose. If the MC can find their weakness and tell it to Maria, then the Heroines win. Each Executive has 2 weaknesses: barely defeating them, and completely defeating them. Each one has a different scene. The first can be found no matter what, but the second requires the assistance of another executive you have already beaten, so the order you choose to go through the Executives matters. Tsukimi has her own plotline playing throughout the chapters, and so does Maria.

Versions:
There is the original base game, and an enhanced version called "Full Moon Night" (FMN). The Full Moon Night version is like a remastered version. It has everything from the base game, but has a wide-screen display and various extra content. You can tell which scenes were added because the original scenes don't come in wide-screen and have bars on the sides. The new scenes take the full screen.
There is an entire extra episode after beating the fourth Executive where the Queen Lunarverse decides to take everyone for 'special training', which ends up at a beach resort that the Heroines also go to. It is basically an excuse to have a bunch of beach scenes, and tans.

There are also extra scenes for all of the characters near the ends of their routes, and various 3P scenes where you see more of how the characters interact. Tsukimi's scenes in the original were sort of forced for the sake of getting H-scenes, but in Full Moon Night she has a proper plotline of her own. Maria originally only had an Ending that seemed almost like a Bad End, but in this one she has another route that is outright happy.

Also, most of the routes were given Epilogues that do a really good job of tying things off. The epilogue of Maria's original Ending saved that route for me. It was what I hated most about the base game. Spoliers:
She is forced to become an Executive to protect her sister. She is then in charge of fighting her sister, though she always lets her go, hoping she will get strong enough to beat the evil organization. That was all for the original, and it honestly felt like a bad end where she is sacrificing herself but in the epilogue, you see her doing really well in the Evil Empire, to the point of scaring the other executives who are begging her to go back to Earth and leave them alone.


Lastly, the Full Moon Night version promotes the Queen Lunarverse from a side-character to a heroine with her own route. In the fifth and last selection of which executive will fight Silver Star, if you have seen all of her scenes then you can select Lunarverse. Then it is the same format of 2 weaknesses and game over scene. Even more than the beach episode, the Lunarverse route may be the most important thing added to FMN.

Overall, I really liked this game and it is going to stick with me a lot more than I thought it would. The only slight regret is that there wasn't a route with both heroines and executives together. The FMN version did add more interaction, and even had a team-up fight, so it feels like a missed opportunity.
