Not wanting some aspects in a review because of "target demographic" makes no sense, you could respond to every point with "Well, it's for people who like that". True, but why should that mean we can't mention it in a review? People will stumble upon this game even when they're not part of some conveniently defined target demographic.
Deciding to compare this to "the average nukige" is arbitrary. We are on a database for all VNs of all types, visited by fans of all types, so it makes sense to use a globally understandable context for the word 'normal'.
