| Review | Honestly A4 kinda put me off at first because I could barely even remember the characters, Lin especially. Homura's route was surprisingly decent and relaxing - giving that more classic "Majikoi" feeling of just hanging out with the gang reminiscent of the first game that usually makes people truly like and enjoy the VN. Lin's route however is what stands out to me the most in this. The story is absurd (as all Majikoi routes tend to be, if we're fair), but Lin's characterization is quite nice, and the other girls in Liangshan aren't bad either. The route takes a bit of a weird approach at times (such as the small yandere segment) but Yamato is a more decent protagonist in this route than in others and tends to solve things satisfactorily. One of the better fandiscs. |
