| Review | I played this game for like 30 hours. A week later, I couldn't recall a single character's name or major event that happened. Somebody had sex in a shower at some point I think. That tells me everything I need to know about this game. |

But I guess we can go a bit harder because why not. Even with other moe games like IxShe Tell, I at least remembered shit afterwards. Like, I went hard with my other review on this site because there was a lot going on contextually with that game. The big amazing thing about Loveriche was the raw experience of my friend asking me how I liked it a week later and not being able to remember anything about it. It was an oddly transcendent experience having absolutely no major plot points I could recall. I remember protag-kun wanted to be golden or some shit (whatever that means) but my friend who recommend it was dumbstruck. There was nothing I could bring to a discussion. I had come to the table empty. Try and think about that for a moment: you play a VN for like 30 hours, walk away from it, and then the next time it comes up in conversation with your friends you just blank. Has that ever happened to you? Do you know what that's like? It felt like trying to recall that game for my friend was like being stuck in some kind of event horizon of mediocrity-- like this is where all things eventually go to die. I wasn't even disappointed. Honestly, I was kind of impressed. It felt like if somebody had asked me to recall the plot of The Santa Clause 2 or some other movie that you're not even sure existed. Five years from now, if you asked me if Loveriche ever existed, I'd probably have to do a double take on the internet to confirm my suspicions that it did. This isn't just mediocre valley. We've gone beyond that. This is mandela effect territory. I'm sure the loveriche hommies out there are cool people. But hey, if you're gonna write about how stupidly forgettable something you've just read is, VNDB seems like the place to do it. Honestly, now I'm kind of curious. Surely my experience here isn't a unique one. Yeah, for me it was Loveriche, but there's gotta have been VNs that have been hyped up to all hell for you by reputable sources and then they just peace out of your mind instantly, right?Last modified on 2022-12-07 at 13:53 |

Personally i liked the fandisc a whole lot better because it seemed to have some decent direction while this game was all over the place. I'm surprised this game got so high reviews, but i'm happy that the fandisc sort of set out to "fix" all of the problems. And it's way less popular than the main game which is surprising to me. |

If you tried to compare this to a non-moege VN it may not hold up as well but thats the reason. Also to #10 maybe you just dont like the moege category much? Since if this was forgettable I would imagine anything moege would be lol. |

I always recycle what i read after i took a step back, share screenshots of dialogues to my m8's or just look at the cg and recall what happened. This way i can remember things better or judge a game in a clearer vision. Not saying everyone should do it, i don't do it from here and there but i won't write a review about something i can't even recall, that's stupid.
