| Review | Eh... well it is not a bad VN, maybe a bit lackluster for the usual 20 Buck price point. But lets go through it methodically. The art is quite good and the story, while being rather short in its nature, is interesting. The BGM... is unintrusive... like I'm hard pressed to remember it but it also does not feel out of place. So not something you gonna listen to in your freetime. So seeing as the story pretty much the setup for the next three episodes it ends abruptly with a massive cliffhanger and I just started the next one and am entirely confused where we pick up since seemingly no ending of the two there are, don't go through again like I did. It's only two... we experienced is the one the one we're picking up from. So while I feel it's a nice game to play through... 20 bucks is not worth it. If you can get it with a nice discount then I'll recommend it. I'd be way harsher if I didn't pick it up on a whim in a sale. Like all four Episodes would set you back 80 bucks and I don't even know if it makes a whole VN. I guess I'll find out. Edit: I found out... I guess they all tie into each other as explained in this game. So not too bad... not exactly amazing either. Opens up a heap of plotholes the way they go about it. Kinda want to dock a point for that, but not going too as it's a perfectly serviceable VN thats too expensive for the content. Not gonna be as kind in EP.2 if it doesn't seriously improve. Finished. Good story, feels like it would have been better as a single contained entity, without paying more. The Episodes where your choices are not changing shit and are thus Kinetic novels let iot down and don't justify the price. |
