| Review | A constant theme on Ochiru Hitozuma is "love". Our protagonist loves his stepmother. But alas, not all love is good or perfect or healthy or sane. Love can be toxic, disgusting, immoral, and oh boy, does Haruki fills all of them. He is a rapist, a disgusting person, associated with even more disgusting people. This vn is a descent into the most horrible aspects of love, though it avoids gore. Our protagonist rapes, blackmails, manipulates. I would only recommend playing this if you can stand being on the mind of a pretty sick, obsessed person and enjoys mature women being degraded. Don't worry, it's just a game, we will not judge you. There is a few games where you play and the sensation you feel is "everything is good, but could be better". So, about Ochiru Hitozuma, it has good graphics, good sound, good voice acting, but I can't absolutely say it's pretty good or perfect because it feels incomplete. Hell, the time skips look unnatural even. I also thinks the plot feel kind of rushed. It is a shiny little perfect piece of food who ends before your stomach is satisfied, and the writer seems to be trying to pull everything together before it falls apart. It smells troubled production and tight deadlines. I enjoy it? Yes. But only to the extent of saying it's good. But if you wanna play a pleasurable netori vn for a quite few hours, yes it is good for you.. |
