This is more of a set of vignettes than a full-blown game by today's standards - a complete playthrough takes no more htan 3-4h. Even the DLsite price of 2300yen seems steep considering that, so I recommend aiming for a 30% off coupon or something.

An excercise in restraint. Not much is told, and even less shown as we dryly observe a group of people making their last life choices as the threat of humanity's annihilation looms within a week's reach. Why is the world going to end? We don't know, but it's certain it's happening, and maybe the why is not as important as how do we spend those last seven days. And nothing really dramatic happens, but maybe that's fine; we're all going to die anyways.

Music was enjoyable, but very sparse; on the other hand, the amount of CGs is staggering for a game this short (almost 90, +sprites), making for very cinematic presentation. The quality if great, too - the artstyle is one that doesn't feel old even now.

Standout storyline: Shige-san & Chieko. In general both subcharacter plots were much more fleshed-out than the main one.

Recommended if you like old games and would like to immerse yourself in that end-of-millenium vibe, with a different vector than Tsui no Sora.
