ReviewDies Irae is a mixed bag for me. It has a very cool setting and extremely based action scenes with cool characters, but it definitely feels to me like it is a visual novel aimed at 15 year old 中二病. That in itself is not that big of an issue, but there are definitely some issues that I had while reading it. The scenes in between the action scenes are kind of dull, and when you start on the different routes they kind of feel repetitive with slight changes that you have to pay attention to (though this is by design). The H-scenes were also mostly not that interesting and some of them don't seem that relevant to the plot. (ルサルカ one is sob). However, the endings to every route are very strong.

I would say it is definitely worth reading just for the based Nazis and epic battle scenes.

< report >You could give Dies Irae, anything from a 1 to a 10 and justify it properly. I wouldn't bat an eye at it.

The main thing is probably your take on the existential dread, this VN may or may not inspire in you. Some will call it stupid, others will learn something from it.

At any rate, I came here to say that I would like to read a bit more, on every review that covers Dies Irae. This is really not enough.

Whichever way you look at Dies Irae, consubstantiating a position on it, it's not easy.
