ReviewAnim's biggest flaw is definitely the character writing.
For the reviewers with that discerning eye, this is prevalent in their previous series, but it really rears its ugly head in Ore no Kanojo wa Taninbou .

We are supposed to believe that Kazuto and Rintarou are childhood friends but the dialogue is so dead and barren that I can barely believe that these people interact with each other. Characters don't think about anything beyond their immediate surroundings. Neither do they have well-defined personalities to begin with.

Noa is simply a blank slate, a nothing character. Purely devoted and subservient to anything Rintarou says, which kills all interest derived from this addition to the cast. For a Swapping game, you need some kind of chemistry between the characters, there is nothing here.

Suzuka is purely an extension of the writer. The way she speaks is really strange, but I'm willing to simply lump this under the "quirky anime personality" trait.
The problem is, she doesn't act human. Her entire character is defined solely with her depravity and perversion. It feels like the writers took the generic "Perverted female side character" character that you would find in any rom-com and ran with it. Everything she surmises or plans comes true and we are given no reason as to why she fell in love with Kazuto. At least put some effort into the relationship if the main story is going to be devoid of drama.

Readers may think that since Suzuka is already so perverted, there is nowhere for her characterization to go thus being the games biggest flaw.
However, this is already shown to have been alleviated in the "Closet ending" route. The question is, why was this route not the main storyline? It was perfectly set up and the exact sort of content that teamMM fans would have been reading this game for.

Yes, Suzuka was depraved and already perverted from the start, but the game could have focused on how her actions affected the main character, and subsequently how she slowly derails from her original personality of "Perverted but loving towards Kazuto" into "Completely neglecting of Kazuto and indulgent in her own pleasure", whilst justifying to herself that it's all for Kazuto's sake.
This is what the game should have focused on, with a shorter "good end" route dedicated to the main four happily enjoying their swapping sex, which is we got instead.

There could have even been a route where Suzuka falls in love with Rintarou and Noa with Kazuto, and this route could, for example, explore how the swapping changes the relationship between the four. But unfortunately, since the characters were so one-note (as explained earlier), it feels like it's impossible for anything organic like this to occur since we already know the how the characters are written to be.
Noa is just a drone and loves Rintarou unconditionally (Implying this is what teenagers are like) and Suzuka was "written" to be completely in love with Kazuto so there goes any interesting drama or tension.
This is ironic if you think about it, considering that teamMM games are all about that "change of heart" that the main female characters go through, and the depravity that comes with this. To completely neglect this element from the work is puzzling.

At the start of the game, Kazuto comments on how Rintarou has a preference for "Gyaru" type girls. So why wasn't anything done with this foreshadowing? Suzuka could have slowly changed her appearance in line with Rintaroues preferences if the "Closet" route was properly expanded upon. There is so much that could have been done but just wasn't.

The bland characterization brings another problem. The female characters point of view was completely superfluous this time around and offers nothing new that that couldn't be insinuated from reading the main storyline. Since Suzukas personality is so one-note nothing new is added to the script, and you are sitting there scrolling through dialogue that could have been put towards new routes or simply added to the main route.

Whilst the story had good ideas, not much is done with them, and what little is done with them simply isn't enough.

< report >I agree. I had high hopes for this game, but apart from h-scenes, which filled 90% of the entire game, in the end I got nothing. From which I conclude that Anim has stopped making games even with a small plot. In their games, you can only find an excuse for the h-scenes themselves.

< report >i give overall rating to this game 5/10 because anime always cannot write characters very well even their innovation really good in prograaming and animation

if there's exchange partner ending (ex : noa and kazuto likes each other), i will give 8/10

i am not really care about rintarou and suzuka because they are just always looks like animal in heat

< report >^ I gonna agree with ardipahlawan88.

This game feels an unfinished or rushed product, but it is during covid.

Unlike the previous games, Boku no mama. The players in that game were given much more routes where you can enjoy both Netore and Netori.

< report >boku no mama still best anim NTR games so far till now. kabe no tsuma 2 is the second for me even still had little lack of personality writing. and kanojo no karada is third for me because overall development is too much focused to antagonist but it was nice to see there's option for revenge NTR event.

the worst NTR writing is tsuma no biniku. it was weird to see gentle old man evolved to horny chaser someone wife (truly this was so confusing[esepcially steal his own son's wife]). the old man was just like a god can see and control everything so smoothly. and the protagonist's wife and co worker just a oldman's living puppet. this is not NTR. this is hell for protagonist because his live so easily to manipulate by his own father.

and Unrated NTR is tsuma ni darake because netorase is not truly NTR. steal with permission is not steal, right? (whatever this is voyeursim game genre)
