ReviewBefore I start this, quick disclaimer: I didn't play Nene's route all of the way through, just for your information oh and this is my subjective review.

Sanoba Witch is about Shuuji Hoshina, a highschool student with a special ability that makes him sense others emotions through various methods, he lives doing constant favors to one of his classmates, because of this, he one day finds himself in the library where he sees another one of his classmates, Ayachi Nene, mastubating with a table, she notices him and the next day calls him into her clubroom where he finds out she's a "witch" following this, the story ensues...

Personal issues: If you have not played this game and want to play it, skip this part. If you played it or just don't care then don't skip it if you want.

I have two mayor issues with this game...
1- Tsumugi's ending: Thanks to t13372 for making me notice this, there's already a solution, but no, you could argue that any kind of wish is a "continous" wish because what? The dress just stops existing? It's still there, isn't it? So, can I wish to go to another Universe for 10 years or so then come back and just become a witch again? Maybe i'm misinterpreting, but who knows man.
2- Nene's restart: Just no... This was a HUGE dealbreaker for me... It made my opinion go down. My man just sends his memory to himself from another reality? Its just existential really at some point, but for me at least, was something that made me not want to play anymore.

Getting that out of the way, here's the review:

Story
So overall, the story is pretty good and to be honest is one of the best I have read in the last couple of months, it has a light tone, some comedy thrown in there but when the story needs to be serious it is serious. 8.5/10

Art
The art is from very good to beatiful in some cases, sprites are fine, and backgrounds are fine too. 8/10

Characters
Everyone is fine, exept the teacher in some scenes, but no one is just like stupid or annoying and the protagonist is actually quite good. 6.5/10

Routes
There's variety in This VN in terms of routes, from lighthearted slice of life to plot focussed and less lighthearted. I would personally recomend: Wakana -> Inaba -> Tsumugi -> Touko -> Nene. 7.5/10

Final overall score: 7/10

I recomend this one if you like lighthearted stuff but not mindless comedy that just happens because, there's still story and worldbuilding in here, pretty enjoyable from start to finish.

< report >From what you said in Characters, I expected a higher score. Did the teacher's scenes you didn't like make the score drop that much?

< report >It's not just memories but soul. Exactly the same thing she did. At that point the argument is about what is a human being - body and soul together, or just the soul. I am very much for the latter.

< report >#1 Being "just fine" isn't worthy of praise in my opinion, what did it for me was the protagonist.

#2 Yeah man I know but it still didn't do it for me, sorry.

< report >unfortunate since that personally i think the beginning of nene's restart is far and away the best part of the game (although it then devolves into frankly ridiculous amounts of h)
