| Review | Pretty decent start into this apocalyptic zombie world. Its definitely the usual cliche zombie tropes so far but it still manages to be pretty interesting. Yuusuke didn't have a great start but he grew on me throughout the story. For a simple office worker turned NEET then tossed into a zombie apocalypse, he sure is a badass. He is full on Gary Stu but I guess that is what makes him fun. He starts off very manipulative and self serving but watching him slowly stop being unempathetic towards the few comrades he has was really very charming. Watching Mitsuki start off hating him and then slowly fall for him through the power of dick was something to behold as well. I'm not sure how I feel about intelligent zombies yet, I just know their art was pretty kick ass. Hope Vol. 2 is good as well. |
