| Review | Recommended for any newbie or veteran VN reader. The way this game uses the 3 different routes to build on top of each other is unique, fully utilizing the VN medium to its potential. I related to half the cast in some way or another, with themes that deeply resonate. The only reason I deducted 1 point was because of some of the "haremy" vibes I got from a lot of the SOL scenes. Even though I enjoyed them, the pacing tends to suffer in order to include them in, and I personally felt like they lowered the stakes a little. Other than that, the themes and endings to each route here are among the best and will probably give you some food for thought even when the excitement of the great action sequences will have died down. |
