ReviewNice and fun story about earthlings struggling against aliens. Unfortunately i thought it was a little too fast-paced, which made some bits and pieces confusing, specially about the backstory. The huge amount of CGs gives a good dynamic to the humor (even though it wasn't exactly up my alley). I'm probably the one person that didn't really like the "panty & stocking" style anime scenes, i would've been more interested in seeing them in regular VN format. Overall, if you want a fun and short experience with high amounts of production value, i recommend it. Borderline good VN.

< report >You weren't a fan of the animated scenes?
Personally, it was one of the main reasons I bought this VN asap.Last modified on 2020-11-06 at 08:00

< report >there was a scene where they were basically glorifying homelessness and that's what turned me off so hard.

< report >I had some questions after finishing this game, so if you'd be so kind...

Haqua is pretty weird. In the end, was she even a positive character? Did the whole bullying thing warp her beyond salvation? I don't get why she betrayed them and went back to her father, what made her do that? Did she just pity him as the warrior girl said? Or was she on his side all along and everything was an act? Because that sure makes her hard to like... She looked so genuine, after all.
Also, didn't we see protag's mother get killed at the start of the game? How come she's alive? Sure, we didn't specifically see her die but everything pointed at it, there was a gunshot too I think.
Lastly, why did Arco save the villain from being squashed? What's the point in that, isn't he about to get sucked into the black hole anyway? Or is it the classic "don't kill or let your friends kill people even if it's a villain" japshit?

< report > I think Haqua deep down just loved her father, but hated how much of a tyrant he was. The betrayal must've been half because he threatened to kill the whole town instantly, half because she pitied him.
The mother part is what confused the most, apparently she survived getting shot... and then lost her memories and her remaining daughters let her start a new family away from them? That definitely needed more of a explanation.
Arco probably saved the villain precisely because he was getting sucked before recovering, so there was no point in killing him while he was a virtually harmless worm. [/spoilers]

< report >Trying to make sense of the plot of this game is pointless.
The plot was all over the place, same as the characters and how they behaved, a shame really because it has such a high production value...
My biggest complain is her mom "dying" in the beginning but then she is just fine, they shot her in the head but she is fine without any explanation about that, she just lost her memories because the dragon ate her memories the same way Maruko got her memories eaten (?), a total mess, I wouldn't have played the game if I knew all along it was just a big tease.
To enjoy this game you need to turn off your brain and enjoy the pretty art, cgs and anime parts, which is not that hard to do since the game does that spectacularly.
Oh yeah the voice acting is pretty good too but I cannot hear maruko (yeah i prefer to call her that and nor Marco) and see Nanachi from made in abyss, since they have even the same speech pattern (maybe this was intencional even)Last modified on 2020-11-07 at 01:11
