| Review | Planetarian presents a dystopian setting, in which the protagonist is a product of the desolate state of the world, but throughout this visual novel, his interactions with Yumemi change him dramatically. Yumemi shows the retrospective of human evolution, the possibilities of human civilization, and the generosity of human compassion. The ending to Planetarian is not an orthodox one, but a bitter one, and it will make you sad and gloomy by the end of it. It’s a great slow read for short easy-to-pick up VN, where everything from its music, visuals, and writing blends together wonderfully. Planetarian presents a touching view in contrast to its bleak setting, all from a girl that isn’t human, but is the true idealism of humanity. Full Video Review: link |
